“Official portrait of designer Philippe Starck shot in January 2015 in Paris, at James Bort’s studio. Since they met in Milan, James has directed numerous films and campaigns for Starck. He was one of the first people to give him carte blanche when James was starting his career. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of their meeting, the photographer wanted to publish this portrait.”
