“Principal Dancer Dorothée Gilbert leaves the stage after dancing Swan Lake alongside Hugo Marchand at the Opéra Bastille. The day before, on a “porté” during a stage rehearsal, she dislocated her shoulder. The burn mark near his collarbone is due to the strapping applied by the physiotherapist to keep the shoulder in place. James Bort is waiting for her, in backstage, and takes this portrait.”
